It was a long distance train scheduled to pass through the magnificent areas during daylight and it was called the 'California Zephyr.' This book tells the story of the 'California Zephyr,' its successor the 'Rio Grande Zephyr,' and the Superliner cars of today--Amtrak's new 'California Zephyr.'
