Trade paperback. Fierman, Julia (illustrator). First edition. First printing [stated]. [6], 294, [4] p. Illustrations. Foreword by Sir George Trevelyan. Pretty Flower a profoundly wise and gentle non-physical Consciousness, shares her love and wisdom through the channeling of Eileen Rota. An illuminating and inspiring selection of her teachings on all major aspects of daily life. From a publisher's website: "Internationally known as one of the clearest channels on the planet, author, lecturer, and deep-level channel Miriandra Rota has been working in the field of spiritual exploration for over twenty-five years. Her experiences as a psychic child were explored in the magazine Venture Inward published by the Association of Research and Enlightenment. Her channeling story is told at length in Henry Leo Bolduc's book, Journey Within: Past Life Regression and Channeling. Dr. Henry Reed also explores Miriandra's work in two books: Edgar Cayce on Channeling Your Higher Self and Developing Your Psychic Ability. Her expanded consciousness journeys are described in Michael L. Schuster's book, Masters of Shambala. Miriandra's channeling is a long-time favorite in the magazine, Sedona Journal of Emergence! Of her first book, Welcome Home, A Time for Uniting, Sir George Trevelyan states, "A fine example of channeling at its best.of profound significance for the spiritual awakening of our time." Her second book, The Story of the People, is a compelling vision of current and upcoming changes, our choices, and the New Earth. Sought after around the world for her workshops and full-day intensives, Miriandra is a dynamic speaker, and her workshops are alive, interactive, and inspiring." He first became a History teacher at Gordonstoun School, a pioneering radical education methods. After the World War II, he became the Warden at Attingham Park, a pioneering adult education college in Shropshire in 1948, from where he retired in 1971, to found the Wrekin Trust, an educational charity. He was subsequently associated with the Soil Association, the Findhorn Foundation, the Teilhard de Chardin Society and the Essene Network. In the last 15 years of his life he was the focus of many lecture tours and meetings. He also wrote numerous book, including A Vision of the Aquarian Age (1977), Operation Redemption (1981), Summons to a High Crusade (1985) and finally Exploration into God (1991).
