The Apple Tree Mystery

9780963374011: The Apple Tree Mystery

'The Apple Tree Mystery' is an intriguing mystery for children 9 to 12 years of age. A strange happening goes on by the apple orchard in Ranger, Maine, and one family sets out to solve the mystery. Seventeen year old Steven Burke works at his family's clothing store after school. One day, on his way home, he took a short cut through the woods and Mr. Peabody's garden. That was when he heard three mysterious men speaking a foreign language. One of the words he heard sounded like, 'yablochnaya derevno'. At that point the mystery begins with Steven delving into this foreign language.
