About the Author:

Charles Gregory Breland was born in in Jackson, Mississippi in 1916. He was the son of Robert Milton Breland and Cora Peirce Breland. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1940 with a B. S. degree in electrical engineering and served in the U. S. Army Signal Corps during World War II. He died in 1994.
