This title was originally published in 1914, this listing is for the REPRINT that was published in 1995 from an original copy found in the Memphis Library. The book is Kit Dalton's memoir of the Civil War and his life in the Wild West. Dalton joined General Nathan Bedford Forrest's 7th Tennessee Cavalry when he was 17. Dalton also wrote that he rode with Quantrill (although he spelled his last name wrong and seems not to have known his first name). Dalton's memoir mentions Frank and Jesse James, Robert Ford, Cole Younger, Sam Bass, and Wild Bill Hickock. He tells what happened in the raid on Paducah, KY and the Lawrence, KS massacre. Adams Six-Guns #550. No previous owner marks. Book is clean, bright, and tight. Dust jacket is clean and bright with no fading. Dust jacket now protected in Mylar.
