Michael Reisig was born in Enid, Okla. in 1948. After college, he moved to the Florida Keys and established a diving business, traveling extensively throughout the Southern Hemisphere--diving treasure hunting, adventuring, and writing about his travels. He presently resides in the Ouachita Mountains of Western Arkansas, where he is a columnist and outdoors editor for Lancaster Newspaper Group.
