IdentaFONT is a set of four books. All PostScript fonts from 19 major font suppliers are divided into four categories: Serif, Sans Serif, Script and Display; each is a separate book within the set. Each letter and number is illustrated together. For example, all the A's are together, all the B's, etc.. By comparing letters or numbers only, one can identify an unknown font in seconds. Included is a complete cross reference, showing the full face, suppliers of each font and the address, URL and toll free numbers of all font manufacturers

Nancy and Don Wansick are true masters of the art of typography. Starting with one of the first photo typesetting machines on the west coast, they developed a reputation for maintaining the largest library of licensed fonts in San Francisco.
With the advent of "True Type" they began the project of organizing PostScript type under the original names to assure accuracy and integrity in its usage. They developed the IdentaFONT concept for their own internal use but as word spread of its uniqueness, other artists and typesettters came to their office on a daily basis seeking to find or select a type face.
Nancy and Don have such deep knowledge of type that they can almost identify any font without referring to books.Excerpt. © Reprinted by permission. All rights reserved.:
Communicating Arts Magazine calls IdentaFONT the "Mother of all font books."
Tom Feild of Adobe Magazine said, "IdentaFONT represents the best attempt to date to gather and sort PostScript type. (It) is well organized and lives up to the publisher's claim that one needs only to look at a maximum of 8 pages to identify a font."
Ernie Fama, Newbury Advertising, San Jose, California says "IdentaFONT is a godsend... super!"
Mid Fuller, Proteus Graphics, Palo Alto, California says "Our clients have raved about the logically organized IdentaFONT manuals and how easy it is to zero in on what they are looking for. Our array of type books and CD font references cannot compare to the efficiency of the IdentaFONT books."
