This is an action-packed western, adventure, and romance novel. It's a story that centers on a man in search of himself. Zero Smith moves west after the American Civil War, armed with a mean attitude and a fast .44-caliber Remington. Looking for answers and new directions, he takes on many different guises. Smith evolves from a nearly evil gun slick, to become a lightning swift, gun champion of justice, fair play, and human dignity.
