Judi Morrill received her Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the Univ. of Calif. at Berkeley, and her M.S. in Public Health Nutrition from the Univ. of Calif. at Los Angeles. She has worked in several research labs, including those of the National Institutes of Health, the Experimental Nutrition Division of the Agricultural Research Center, and Stanford Medical School, and has been a spokesperson for the American Heart Association. She teaches in the Dept. of Nutrition, Food Science, and Packaging at San Jose State Univ., and co-authored the books Realities of Nutrition and Are You Eating Right--Compare your diet to the official recommendations using the nutrient content of 5000+ foods.
