Lost in the Andes is a romantic adventure which begins in 18th century Ecuador and ends in 20th century U.S.A. When Count Francisco is ordered to the Americas by the King of Spain, his fiance Josepha de la Vega follows him across an ocean and through a fabled jungle. Lost in the Andes through the perilous schemes of a guide, Josepha emerges a different woman than the pampered Spanish lady who left her country three months earlier. If only she had known then that these same vast lands would be her legacy. Only the reader will discover the subtle distinctions between romance and betrayal as the plot unravels through several generations.

As a mother of six, three boys and three girls, Myrna says her life was an open book so why not write one. Coincidentally she went on to write six books. Her favorite genre is historical romance. She moved outside of her novels to write “Not again, Lyle,” a comedy about a real life unforgettable character she had watched grow up. Myrna taught Great Books at her children's schools, religious education at their church, she was a den mother, teen club and 4-H leader, museum docent, volunteered in food kitchens, and performed for the elderly as a clown. When not writing books, Myrna enjoys being with family and friends, gardening, and playing her guitar and piano.
