9780966082302: The Center of the Wheel

The Center of the Wheel is a novel/parable about a young man's quest for love and enlightenment. It can be used as a guide to contentment. It's a "feel good" book, but it also faces the existential issues and challenges we all face virtually every day of our lives: "Why are we here? Why do young children die? Why does life go well for a while, and then become so completely terrible for no apparent reason? How can one find contentment in this crazy, fast-paced, stress-filled world?"

Robert Hudson was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He now lives in Homewood, Alabama with his wife Trudie, and his children Sarah and Shelton. He received his B.A. in Religion from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1980 and his Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina in 1984. Presently, he conducts seminars and workshop throughout the country on topics such as "Experiencing Enlightenment," "Finding Your Path to Contentment," "Leaping into Spiritual Consciousness," "The Secrets to Relaxation and Meditation," and "How to Manage Stress and Burnout."

From the Author:

Life can be wonderful; it can also be harsh and can feel overwhelming at times. It is during these difficult times that I am reminded how much we need each other and how lonely and painful life can be.

The Center of the Wheel is my way of giving back some of what I have received. It is my way of saying thanks to the many people, friends and family, who have celebrated with me in the good times and who have helped me make it through the hard times.

My favorite books have always been the ones that make me smile as well as make me think. I hope The Center of the Wheel is such a book for you, and that you get as much from reading it as I did from writing it.
