Bob Ciaffone has been a professional poker player for most of his adult life. He is known throughout the world as an expert player, writer, and teacher of poker. He is also a leading expert on poker rules. Bob has plenty of experience at the highest level of poker. He has entered the World Championship event of the World Series of Poker nine times. His best achievement was finishing in 3rd place in the 1987 championship. In that event, He was the first person in poker history to lose a pot with over a million dollars in it. Johnny Chan won that pot and went on to become the 1987 World Champion. Bob did most of his poker playing in Dallas, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. He moved back to Saginaw Michigan (his home town) in 1996, when he started his teaching career. People who he has helped have won millions of dollars at no-limit holdem. They include the 1995 second place finisher in the World Championship, Doctor Bruce Van Horn, the 5th place winner in the 1997 World Championship, Bob Walker, and Tom McCormick, who currently is in second place in lifetime cashes in World Series of Poker events. This book is Bob's sixth book on poker.
