From the Preface.
Everyone loves Las Vegas. Well, not quite everyone. Millions of tourists are pouring into the city to have the time of their lives for a few days and then leave until their next visit. Many more are coming in as well, not to visit, but to live, because of what they feel is a great place to live - lots to do, wonderful climate, no state taxes, jobs and certainly lots of gambling!!
There are a lot of books on how exciting Vegas is, but a cartoon book depicting numerous oddities of this bizarre town and its activities definitely lends a different and thoughtful perspective of its intriguing appeal. After all, people in our country and all over the world are deciding what place gambling will have in their own backyard.
Whatever one's reaction, no one can deny there's absolutely no place like Las Vegas on Earth, whether you love it or not. - Edward M. Atchison
