About the Author

Tara Wohlenhaus and Nanci Slagle have been cooking the 30 Day Gourmet way since 1993. The two friends (with 7 children between them) have taught their 30 Day Gourmet seminar to thousands. Their humorous style has made them popular radio and national television talk show guests as well. They have been featured on Home and Garden Television's Smart Solutions, the 700 Club, the Home and Family Show, and The Gayle King Show.

Tara has an extensive cooking background and is the culinary brains of this duo. She lives in rural Indiana where she and her husband and their three daughters are busy restoring their 120+ year old farmhouse as well as tending the animals and garden that come with owning their "little piece of heaven". Nanci, who HATES to cook, does all of their shopping and organizing. She is the busy mother of four children. The Slagles live near Indianapolis where the whole family is involved with building their dream log home. Together, this team has set out to conquer the age-old question of "what's for dinner" with an answer that will appeal to frustrated cooks worldwide.
