Synopsis
This book is a comprehensive account of the weeping statues and other events which took place on the outskirts of our nation's capital from 1991-1993. The phenomena included numerous statues, crucifixes and even glass images which wept tears before thousands of astonished witnesses. In addition, some statues added or rotated colors and uncounted numbers of rosaries changed color. Powerful conversion experiences occurred. Mr. Carney, an eyewitness/parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Lake Ridge, Virginia recorded the events as they unfolded. In addition to his journal-style account, he presents other famous statue weeping episodes and a detailed rebuttal to skeptical challengers. Also included are beautiful, full-color photos of the weeping Madonnas as well as a prayer to Madonna of Tears by St. Pope John Paul II. A DVD of Eyewitness Testimony is also available for sale.

About the Author
James L. Carney is an honor graduate of Spring Hill College and a graduate of Harvard Law School. He was invited to present his award winning essay on Just War Traditions in the Nuclear Age to the U.S. Army Chaplain's School. Mr. Carney was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at the time of the unexplained phenomena. As an eyewitness to the events he documented the happenings as they occurred in The Seton Miracles, Weeping Statues and Other Wonders. Mr Carney assigned all rights, title and interest in this work to the Marian Foundation. This assignment was made to eliminate any financial incentive of the author in the reporting of the events described in the book so that their credibility might be evaluated solely on the basis of the number and character of the witnesses and the circumstances.
