Robert Hussein was born and raised in the State of Kuwait. He was employed by the Kuwait government in the mid 1970's as an accountant. After finding corruption there, he retired his position and became general manager of his family contracting company. In 1996 he was charged, tried and convicted of the crime of apostasy. He lost his legal identity at that time. With the help of various religious and human rights organizations he came to the US. It is his dream that one day the people of Kuwait will be free, not only from the tyrannical rule of the Amir of Kuwait, but free to think, to explore and to find the truth for themselves. He currently resides in the US with his wife and daughter.
