About the Author:

Dr. Lisa Whatley, Ph.D., was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil were she spent most of her childhood and teenage years. She lived in New York City for 10 years and has resided in Denver, Colorado for the last 25 years. Dr. Whatley loves life and people. As a counselor, educator, school administrator and employer, she understands keenly the inborn need of every human being to learn, to understand the meaning of life, and to cope with its vicissitudes. She is a product of Catholic school education and has had the opportunity to observe the struggle that many people go through to reconcile their emotional needs with their Catholic beliefs. Lisa Whatley, like her heroine, believes in understanding, forgiving, forgetting and loving without conditions.
