The stories have much the flavor of Alfred Hitchcock and Twilight Zone. Most of the stories have a surprise or unusual ending. There are 29 stories having a word count ranging from 850 to 3600. There are about 100 original puns and 16 poems. The Rhyme-O-Gram game is described and examples are given.

Mario Farina is a native of Schenectady, New York. He obtained his degree from College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. He served three years in the Army and was honorably discharged. He worked at American Locomotive Company, General Electric Company, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York State Labor Department, and CMA Consulting Services. He authored many computer textbooks that were published by Prentice-Hall. He also authored A Beginner's Guide to Successful Investing in the Stock Market published by Investor's Press, The Spider's Web published by Authors Unlimited. He is Editor and Founder of New Authors Journal, a literary Journal for new authors. The author's computer books were translated to Japanese, Spanish, and Russian.
