This is an account of the author's search for truth and justice beginning with the murder, called a suicide, of her mother. She slowly becomes aware of the chain of lies and deception used to cover it up by relatives and officials, and through her 35 year investigation makes not only discoveries vindicating her mother, but also spiritual and intellectual ones as well.

Dr. Davidson did her doctorate research paralleling the effects of domestic violence with survivors of the Jewish Holocaust, consulting with Drs. Tournier, Frankl and Weiss, in Europe. Dr. Davidson has worked as a licensed clinician in So. California in private practice, social service agencies, and conducting group therapy. She speaks locally and nationally on the plight of survivors, recently in Ramat Gan, Israel at the 2nd World Congress of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
