Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. First Edition. Carpe Diem: The Twentieth Century Pilgrimage of an Imparfit Knight by Charles B. Reeves. Inscribed by the author to a Cardinal. This hardcover First Edition is in Very Good to VG+ condition with a crisp, Like New dust jacket. The covers are in great shape with nice square sharp corners and firm spine caps. The binding is square and tight. Minor abrasion to the front flyleaf. The author has written a lengthy, heartfelt inscription to the Cardinal on the front flyleaf. Additionally, there is an inscription on the front paste-down, presumably from the couple who obtained Reeves' signature. An "Office of the Cardinal" handstamp is present on the half-title page. That said, the interior is immaculateno pun intended. The pages are clean, bright, and unmarked. The dust jacket is beautifully preserved, not price-clipped, and free of chips or tears, showing barely a hint of shelf wear. The book will be carefully packaged for shipment for protection from the elements using bubble wrap encased in a sturdy carton box. A USPS electronic tracking number will be issued free of charge.
