Sigmund Aarsuth lives in Volbu, Norway with his wife, Ingebjørg. They have three children and two grandchildren. He has been Rosemaling and teaching Rosemaling worldwide for 40 years, and is on of the best known Rosemalers in the world. Sigmund graduated as a Master Painter from a school in Oslo and is a well-known painter of interiors in Norway and throughout the world.
Diane Edwards had been painting full time since 1966 and has a BS and MA in Art and Education. She is the Adjunct Professor of Art for Aims Community College in Loveland and teaches oil and watercolor painting in her shop, Nordic Arts in Loveland. She is the author of the following books: Rosemaling Strokes, a beginner book on Telemark Rosemaling. Telemark Rosemaling Volume II, a book on projects and how to paint on any surface; and Swedish Folk Art, a beginning book on Swedish Folk decoration. She is married to Dale and has two children, Liesl and Brion, a daughter-in-law Mihoko, and a granddaughter, Faith.
