Daddy Bug loves his family, but can be ruthless to his ememies. He's a mountain man and a bootlegger. He considers his profession honorable because he can support his family with it. He feels he is helping people. His story spans approximately 35 years and follows the lives of his wife, children, relatives and friends to an unexpected conclusion. After the many dramatic and brutal events of his tortured life, he finally makes a decision that will make him happy. The author touches on aspects of the aveerage mountain family, the Vietnam War, the Kennedy assassination as well as difficult and different human relationships.

Kathleen Day spent the majority of her life in Atlanta, Georgia. She now resides in a small town in Alabama. Ms Day graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1975.
