Frances Patton Statham is an award-winning artist, musician, writer, and lecturer. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Winthrop University, a master of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia, and an honorary doctorate from World University. As a lyric-coloratura soprano, she has given concerts and lectures in a number of cities, including Singapore, Madrid, Budapest, and Vancouver.
