About the Author:

Barbara Smith, co-editor, is a poet, editor, and writer active in many community development projects in Barbour County, West Virginia. She is a retired Dean of Humanities at Alderson-Broaddus College, Philippi, West Virginia.

Kirk Judd, co-editor, is a poet, workshop leader, and co-founder of Allegheny Echoes, a festival of music and the performing arts. He is a Quality Engineer-Advanced with Special Metals Corporation in Huntington, West Virginia.
