Despite having the happiest of marriages and a successful career motivating others to be their best, I felt incomplete. I was childless. After years of hearbreaking infertility treatments my husband, David, and I decided to adopt a child, Jordan. From the moment I saw him, all questions about why I couldn't have a child biologically disappreared. My desire to express to my son and other adopted children how deeply they are loved, and the positive experience of adopting Jordan, inspired me to write "A" is for Adopted. I hope to spread the message that by choosing the option of adoption both biological and adoptive parents are making our world a better place.
Left Page: Adopted - A special woman who loves you very much carried you inside her tummy while you grew. When you were born, she chose a special Mommy and Daddy, who also love you very much, to take care of you. Right Page: A is for adopted. You were chosen from the start. To be loved, nurtured and cherished from the bottom of our hearts. We re proud to be your parents. We re very proud of you. We hope that this adoption makes you as proud too!
