About the Author

Beulah Munshower Sommer graduated from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparaative Religions. Mrs. Sommer served as a docent at the National Gallery of Art, as a guide at the Hillwood Museum, and as an aide at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. A tireless traveller, she has acquired an extensive collection of tea accoutrements, some of which she displays at her tea lectures. Beulah is a contributing writer for Tea a magazine.

Pearl Dexter is the editor and publisher of Tea a Magazine —a specialty consumer publication dedicated to a worldwide audience. Pearl has lived in San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., Providence, and London. After living in England for eight years, she established a tea room in northeastern Connecticut, has taught tea classes, lectured on tea, and established The Tea School.
