About the Author:

Dr. Douglas D. Stauffer is an internationally recognized authority in the field of Bible history and defense. He holds three Bible degrees including a PhD in Religion. Because of his biblical expertise, Oxford University Press commissioned Dr. Stauffer to work as a consulting editor. Along with being a frequent guest speaker on radio and television, he has served for ten years in pastoral ministries and logged thousands of hours teaching through the church and at the college level. He is a prolific author, having written eight books along with many writings published in Christian periodicals. While attending Bible college, Dr. Stauffer passed the CPA exam and went on to enjoy a successful career in the management of several companies. In 1995, he left his position as CFO of a multi-million-dollar corporation in order to dedicate himself more fully to the ministry. Since that time, he has earned a Th.M. in Theology and a PhD in Religion from International Baptist Seminary. One Book One Authority is Dr. Stauffer's sequel to One Book Stands Alone targeting Bible defense and history. Each of his books has been produced in segments for cable television.

Required for Everybody This book is a must. I have many books on this topic, but this book is at the top. It is extremely important to get honest facts, and this book has them. An excellent study on the various versions of the Bible. Stauffer's book "One Book Rightly Divided" teaches you in an easily understandable manner how to correctly apply all the different sections of the Bible. This book, "One Book Stands Alone" shows you which Bible is the correct version. I was shocked when I learned the truth about the origins and the contents of many of the various versions of the Bible. Changed words and entirely deleted verses add up to inaccurate, sometimes downright blasphemous "bibles". Dr. Stauffer presents the data in a clear, easy to read, entertaining manner. If you are seeking the truth regarding which version of the Bible God wants you to read, "One Book Stands Alone" is priceless. Makes an excellent companion to "One Book Rightly Divided". Tremendous Resource This book is the best I have read on this subject. The reader gets a crystal clear and easily understandable evaluation of why the AV is not just superior but more importantly God's inspired perfect and preserved word. Numerous hidden treasures found ONLY in the AV text are revealed and explained in this book without the authors personal opinion. It is most interesting that these treasures, because they are misinterpreted, are assumed to be errors by the KJV rejecters.
