Alan Hafer has a doctorate in education from the University of Colorado. In addition to being a school superintendent of three school districts in three differnt states, Hafer was aso a legislative liaison, assistant principal, and social studies teacher.
He served as president of the Northwest Wyoming Superintendent's Association and was a member of the Wyoming School-University Partnership Governing Board. A nominee of the Northwest Wyoming Superintendent's Association for Superintendent of the Year, Hafer received the Climax Fellow scholarship to study educational administration in 1978. A past member of the National Ski Patrol, he currently lives in Superior, Colorado with his wife, Judy Skupa, who is an administrator in the Boulder Valley School District.Review:
