This book examines the "Healthy Ones," people with immunity to degenerative disease, and how minerals in their diet bestow them with that immunity. Immunity to cancer, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, stroke and circulatory disease confer profound benefits. You get to stay out of the doctor's office and the hospital, saving a lot of time and money. You are blessed with jump-out-of-bed energy, and get to lead an exceptionally long, active life. And you escape a great deal of pain and grief, because your demise is quick, not a system by system shutdown with attendant loss of mobility, loss of dignity and institutional supervision over a lengthy period of time. These "Healthy Ones" are racially, culturally, and geographically diverse, but different than we lot because, as the book explains, they consume the entire mineral team. Their food is completely mineralized, and all their metabolic enzymes perform per nature's plan, which is based on mineral interdependence. The calcium in their food goes to the bones because they have enough dietary magnesium activating the hormone which sends the calcium where it is supposed to reside. And when the calcium arrives, it can stay there because these folks have enough zinc coming in to activate the enzyme that lays down the lattice that receives the calcium. Those free from degenerative disease have more than 70 minerals coming in from the external environment, working interdependently, to regulate their internal environment. The bulk of us, as is explained, are predisposed to degenerative disease because we consume minerally deficient food grown in soils that have been, documented by soil analysis and plant tissue analysis, depleted of many minerals. In the world of health books seldom do you find something new. For example, look at diet books. They sell in the millions every year, but each new book out is basically a rehash of some prior book, but with a different title. The book 'Minerals: The Essential Link to Health' is not like that. I published it because the author provided new and refreshing information. It also contains politically incorrect information. This book is not a model redesigned for the new year. For me it produced a string of aha responses as to where health really comes from. It explained who got results in preventing degenerative disease, and why. And it showed how we can attack the problem of mineral deficiency, found in every American diet.From the Author:
Magic bullet thinking about nutrition and health, a product of the medical model, does not work.
