William Glasser, M.D. is the president of the William Glasser Institute, an organization of over six thousand Reality Therapy Certified people who teach and practice Choice Theory and Reality Therapy all over the world. He is a board-certified psychiatrist who has written over fifteen books, which HarperCollins has published. These books have been translated into almost every major language and have sold more than two million copies. He has worked in every aspect of psychiatry, and for nine years was the psychiatrist for the Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital where he specialized in dealing with chronic pain and disability of unknown origin.
