It is a collection of psychological and lifestyle aphorisms or statements -- one, to as many as four, per page -- about our lives and the vicissitudes of living. These have been gleaned from clients, patients, students, friends and colleagues over more than two decades as a practicing psychologist and university professor. The genre is a combination of self help and psychology, and demonstrates the humor, the tragedy, common sense, the arcane and the mundane of our individual, fascinating lives. This book is filled with "thought prompts" for introspection or dialogues of exploration within oneself or between people. The statements trigger some creative thinking about knowledge we already have.
