At last, a tool to enable any woman to manage her own menopause her own way. Most importantly, this slide chart helps women minimize their risks of diseases related to menopause. This slide chart accompanies the book entitled, 'Menopause: Your Management Your Way...Now and for the Rest of Your Life.' The slide chart lists all of the management options for all of the diseases on which menopause management has an effect. They include (1) Heart Attack, (2) Osteoporosis, (3) Breast Cancer, (4) Uterine Cancer, (5) Ovarian Cancer, and (6) Alzheimer's Disease. It guides a woman in identifying which of these diseases present a risk for her. Then, by flipping the slide chart to the opposite side, she can see all of the management options that will serve to reduce her risk for those diseases. The book presents all of the management options for each of these diseases individually, with management options for each. However, for women with risks for more than on disease, the overlap between desirable and undesirable options can be confusing. The slide chart simplifies the overlap by revealing all the management options that are beneficial for the combination of disease for which a woman is at risk. Both the book and the slide chart are completely unbiased. They include management options in all categories including: (1) Diet and Lifestyle Options, (2) Vitamin and Mineral Options, (3) Botanical and Herbal Options, (4) Hormonal Medication Options, and (5) Non-hormonal Medication Options. Users can see a vast array of options at a single glance and determine those that will be best for her, personally. The great thing about the slide chart is that, as a woman evolves over her menopausal life, she is able to re-evaluate her disease risks as well as her options. It truly empowers a woman to manage her own menopause her own way...now and for the rest of her life!
