Lauren P. Hunter MS, CNM is the current Director of the Graduate Nurse-Midwifery Program at the University of California, San Diego. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1977 with BSN. In 1986 she received her certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Utah. She received her Masters in Maternal-Newborn Nursing from the University of Arizona in 1987.Lauren Has attended births since 1986 and taught nure-midwifery since 1990.Lauren lives in La Jolla California with her two sons. Her hobbies include writing poetry about birth and her childhood memories of growing up in Kansas. In Addition, she enjoys travel, reading, cooking, riding horses and time with her family.Review:
