From the Author:

This is a story of transformation - my transformation from childhood on a New Zealand dairy farm through all the inner struggles, rejections, denial, anger, pain and hurt to my acceptance, at last, of myself and my life. My struggle with life and living has at times been almost too much to handle. Yet always, when at the most critical time emotionally, I was pulled back from the brink as if some overlord could sense that I could not take any more. Each time I broke through that emotional brick wall, I gained a new and increased understanding of life and myself. I can now at last laugh at myself for putting up such an incredible resistance to the changes that occurred.

Yes, God, You really had a tough one in me. Thank you for not giving up. Being a male, it was more difficult, I think, to accept that feelings are more important than thinking when it comes to looking at yourself. Many men have incredible difficulty in even recognizing their feelings, let alone following them. This Western society we live in has become so cerebral, so mind-dominant, that it is difficult indeed to break away and be free to feel, to come from the heart, to grow as a divine being, to realize that we all have a God given right to be free within ourselves and not be trapped by our emotions, the need for money and possessions, or even, life itself. If, as a result of this book, just one person is able to break out of the shackles of inner struggle and realize and rejoice in their divine beingness, then all the effort will have been worthwhile. This is my story.

From the Back Cover:

In my recent spiritual work, I encountered a quote: 'A psychologist only mends you, he doesn't transform you'. As a psychologist, I found this to be true. Thus, with great delight, I have encountered Denie Hiestand and his transformational work. His book, Journey to Truth, is an inspirational journey, a mystery for the soul. It's a must read for those who seek to transform themselves. - Dr. Stephen Vizzard, Ph.D. Moss Bay Center, Bellevue WA. U.S.A.

Attention, all you mid-life crisis-ing, baby booming, health professionals: READ THIS BOOK! Read it as an adventure story, as gripping as Castaneda or the Celestine Prophecy. And read it as a treasure map. This man can truly lead you into a more satisfying and meaningful life as a healer. I know. - Frederick Kimball, MD. Family Practitioner, Everett, WA. U.S.A.

Journey to Truth is one man's inspiring and soul bearing story of his journey to truth and healing. More importantly, it is an introduction to the work of Denie Hiestand. As a medical doctor and student of Denie's International Academy of Vibrational Medical Science, the Christ force healing energy Denie teaches us to open our hearts to, is truly one of the most extraordinary, powerful, profound experiences of my entire life. Dr. Linda C. Hole, MD. Spokane, WA. U.S.A.
