What prompted me to publish this book? Well when I was a kid I had a book that had plans of working models as well as three views of planes. It was a great book because there was lots to do in that book. You could look at the pictures, build flying or solid models and the three views, well those could be the starting point for your own designs. Like an idiot, I lost that book when I was still young and foolish. I quietly cried for 35 years over it never expecting to see it again. Well, guess what I was browsing through a used book store in Bangor, Maine where I saw two interesting books. I opened one and lo and behold I immediately recognized the page I was reading. I flipped through the pages recognising some material but not others. I flipped through the other both beside it and there it was, the other half of the book I lost so many years ago.
There are not many books on the market with plans. Normally one has to buy a kit or plan through a service which can become expensive. By publishing several in a book the reader has a chance to look the hobby over and get something for his or her money.
