When he reached forty, Lance Secretan retired. He had built Manpower Limited from scratch to $100 million in annual sales. Manpopwer is the world's largest employer today. He has been a corporate pioneer, a Professor of Entrepreneurship at two leading universities, a municipal politician, Canada's Special Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Environment Program and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the 1997 Special Olympics World Winter Games (for the mentally disabled). He is the founder and President of The Secretan Center Inc. a worldwide consulting organization with associates in Europe, South America, Australia, Canada and the United States.
