Jesus' teaching was like none the world had ever known. As he taught rich and wonderful truths, he used a variety of teaching methods. One teaching tool he used many times was conversation. Sometimes, he began the conversation with a question, a challenge, an illustration or a statement. Sometimes, the conversation began with a question from one of his disciples. Whatever prompted the conversation, Jesus used it as an opportunity to teach the questioner and others about the things of God and his kingdom. People were captivated by what Jesus said. The Gospel writer described the fascination this way: “All the people were hanging upon His words” (Luke 19:48, NASB). That fascination continues to the present. Jesus still speaks in conversation through the Bible. The eleven conversations included in this book contain messages that have informed and encouraged and comforted countless individuals down through the centuries.About the Author:
