About the Director:

Fred Silverman is an international and national award-winning producer. He has more than 25 years of experience in directing, producing, and writing nationally broadcast documentaries and non-scripted specials. In 1999, in association with fellow journalists, he formed Issues TV, a non-profit production cooperative to develop television programs that focus on the human condition. Since 1985, he has been president of Silverman Communications, an independent production company. In addition to his television work, Mr. Silverman has designed and created web sites as well as interactive informational products.
