"Told in a perfect balance of riveting, first-person victim's testimonies and thoughtful, well-researched examinations of aberrant behaviors, Deception in the Pews is a must-read for those yearning for the truth of rarely acknowledged, behind-the-scenes evil doings within many religious institutions. This long-overdue book documents how some pastors, faith leaders and churches--regardless of denomination--manipulate, mislead, abuse, steal and even destroy in the sight of God, and often in His name, for their own selfish gratification and personal gain.
"Whether it's the loss of a child's innocence, the seduction of a doting husband's wife, or the draining of a faithful congregant's life savings, this tome lifts the veil on the epidemic of spiritual deception and bares all, asking the hard questions while challenging trusted houses of worship to clean up their act."
