Detectives are at a loss when they find women of questionable character strangled and propped against trashcans in narrow alleys of Orlando, Florida. All bear the same unique signature: X’s over their mouths and eyes and a rope around their neck, held in place by an old clothespin.
Lieutenant Tom Lindsey, formerly a New York City homicide detective, leads the case. His last experience with a serial killer left him burnt out and on the edge of vigilantism. A female profiler becomes an unwelcome member of the team and another thorn in Lindsey’s side.
Action occurs in both Orlando and the small town of St. Cloud. The two main suspects are brothers. Circumstantial evidence piles up against them, but the detectives need something tangible to secure a verdict. The killings escalate, more victims are found and the city panics.
Which brother is it? Maybe they’re both guilty? Or, it could be someone else entirely. A stranger, a boyfriend, a next door neighbor. Who can be trusted? How well does anyone know their loved one? Just when the reader is sure of the killer’s identity, new clues surface and their suspicions are re-directed. The psychopath is not unveiled until the very final pages of “Voices”.

Voices is, undoubtedly, the best whodunit book on the market. This novel kept me on the edge of my seat. -- Tara Harrington, Media Specialist
