Roger Fisher was the founding guitarist of the group HEART. Some of his songwriting contributions were Barracuda, Crazy On You and Mistral Wind.
In 1999, Roger created The Human Tribe Foundation, a charity designed to raise money to give to organizations that in some way benefit the planet. A portion of all profits from Roger's current endeavors go to The Human Tribe.

The first time I realized I would be an entertainer was in the summer of '64. I was doing one of any fourteen-year-old's least favorite things, mowing the lawn. The incredible part of this event was that this teenager was feeling "You Really Got Me" by the Kinks from head to toe, to the depth of his soul, knowing that rock and roll would be his life.
In 1965, with my rented Harmony Guitar and Silvertone Amp, I began laying the foundation for my own style of guitar playing. Designing instruments, playing guitar with a violin bow and generally being willing to try anything to produce interesting, unique music was my mainstay.
As founding guitarist of the rock group Heart, these adventurous energies made themselves globally known through the sales of more than fifteen million albums. Having left that group in 1979, a musical rebirth began that took ten years to reach fruition. The first album to emerge from those years of work in my 16-track studio was "Standing, Looking Up," an effort that portrays earthly birth and the subsequent reaching out to other worlds and wonders.
Since then, I was fortunate to get together with my former Heart buddies Mike Derosier and Steve Fossen, as well as former Sheriff members Freddie Curci and Steve DeMarchi to form a group called "Alias". In the year and a half that Steve, Mike and I were with the group we had a number one single, a number ten single, were on several national TV shows, including two performances on the Tonight show - once with Johnny Carson and once with Jay Leno.
Since 1968, I have toured North America repeatedly, playing in all but two of the fifty states, playing in all but two of the provinces. I have been on television shows that broadcast for more than 60 million people in Europe, played the biggest shows in Japan's and Canada's histories, performed for as many as three hundred thousand people at a single rock show. I have toured Japan, Australia and the USSR in addition to North America and Europe.
I was a video jockey for a Seattle TV show, REV for a season. I taught at the Art Institute of Seattle for a term. I own patents on a guitar and speaker box, respectively. These activities seemed like distractions however, and I had to get back into music.
With the financial help of a dear friend, I designed and contracted a very nice recording studio built onto our home. Mars Recording Studio is where I spend most of my time, doing what I love (when I’m not playing with my kids).
In addition to creating a heavenly park-like home environment in the middle of five acres of woods, I have three sons, Roger, Evan and Dylan (yes, he’s named after Bob) and three lovely daughters, Alicia, Michaela and Lily.
I practice Tai Chi, meditate daily, and remain physically active.
My current project is a four-album (each with an accompanying book) concept package that will be the soundtrack for a full-length feature film I'm writing entitled One Vision. Evolution is the name of the first of the four book/albums and was released in 2000.
