But there's a catch! If they cannot unravel each of the pillar's secret in three days, Gennie and Jeff will be trapped in time forever!

Today children receive very mixed and confusing messages about money. Wealth is all too often portrayed as a matter of luck, as in the publicity surrounding lotteries and lottery winners. Additonally, children see their parents bombarded with aggressive product advertisements, encouraging them to overspend. The message of saving and investing rarely gets the media spotlight.
I wanted to present this in a story format so children would enjoy reading it, but at the same time, drive home the financial message. The 9-13 year-old age group seems to be the ideal time to receive the message.About the Author:
Jeffrey J. Pritchard, a senior vice president with one of the nation's leading savings and investment institutions, has more than 20 years experience in the investment industry assisting both institutions and individuals. Whereas Pritchard has authored three prior books on investment related issues, Quest for the Pillars of Wealth is his first book to combine his financial expertise with his commitment to helping children.
In 1993 Pritchard founded Helmets for Youth Foundation, which provides bicycle safety helmets to limited income children in Washington State. Pritchard's efforts have earned him numerous accolades, including a National Lifesaver Award from the Department of Transportation.
Other books by Pritchard include: One Trillion-to-One, the Great Inflations; Heads You Win - Tails You Win; and Low Risk/High Performance - Investing with Convertible Bonds.
