The Legend of Andrew & Christopher is the inspirational story of a lonely teen and a compassionate veteran who are drawn to each other like father and son. Christopher, 13, is poor, white, fatherless, and has been sick much of his life. With his mother working long hours, he is often alone and a target for neighborhood bullies but has protection from an unlikely quardian angel. The boy finds refuge, his first job and new friends at a popular fishing pier. Andrew is a decorated African-American World War II veteran who spends his summers fishing at the pier. He shares his catch with other poor families, and Christopher helps him catch fish and distribute the food. The uncommon friendship of Andrew and Christopher touches many lives. It is the story of good over evil, of brotherhood and of a legendary love that transcends even death.
