Burton Laine has a unique perspective of public relations as it applies to youth development. He spent the first 10 years of his professional career as an Associate Professor working in Youth Development for the University of Minnesota. He later built a career in public relations and marketing, at one time serving as Sr. Vice President of a major Minnesota firm. Burton holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Education, both from the University of Minnesota. He is accredited by the Pubic Relations Society of America.
