I am Nobody's Child is a powerful and compelling true story of a mother's love for her son. It is a story of painful betrayal, and a young mother's horrific journey to the past to search out truths, not only of her own frightening childhood, but that of her son's.

As the shocking truths unfold, inconceivable human endurance is required on the part of the young mother to survive. This is a truly moving story of abandonment by a father, the eventual reunion of father and son, and one woman's courageous struggle to survive unspeakable trauma of a birthright situation gone horribly wrong.

About the Author:

Maureen Lyttle was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and is currently a resident of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

A professional artist for the past eighteen years, she has also studied psychology, reunification and trauma for several years.

In the heartfelt rendering of her first book, I am Nobody's Child; Maureen drew upon her troubled experiences as a fatherless child growing up in a family of ten children and subsequent single parenting of her only son, Joseph.

Irreparably and painfully estranged from her son, Maureen wrote I am Nobody's Child in the hope others could benefit from her story.
