The Training Guide Socialization & Sexuality

This unique publication is a "how to" for professionals who have the responsibility of preparing their colleagues to effectively respond to the needs involving the social sexual aspects in the lives of persons with intellectual disabilities. However, the Guide is more than a training manual. Because trainers can never expect their trainees to absorb all the information they present during a training experience, the book also offers factual information serving to fill in the gaps on each aspect of training. Thus, if the participants are given the Guidebook to take home with them, they will be able to:

1. Review what they have experienced
2. Clarify material presented that they did not fully understand
3. Posses a complete bibliography for backup information
4. Have additional information conveniently available for future use

Consequently, the Guide can be useful to almost everyone.
