This is the true story of one person's life (mine) after winning the World's Record Megabucks Slot Jackpot of nearly 12 million dollars in Las Vegas in 1996. It is in story form, but it historically describes life after five years of winning the "Big One." It covers the ups, the downs; the financial woes, the loss of friends, the isolation, the paranoia, etc., of what happens to one's life after instant wealth. Although an entertaining story, it is intended to be a textbook of sorts for those that win (or dream of winning) the big one. It should prepare them for what's ahead for them. It includes an 8 page pictorial of the "good life." It is the author's observation that this story has never been told from the eyes of one who has lived it.

He lives through the "near death" of excessive alcohol abuse and the psychological trauma of dealing with friends, family, and fiends. Why the Book?
After winning the World Record Megabucks Jackpot (a Slot Machine) of just under 12 Million Bucks in 1996 in Las Vegas; and after going Public with the "Win" then spending the next 5 years hiding from the Media and the scavengers coming from every crack, why, oh why would I then come out with a book and start the Media frenzy all over again?
Frankly, because I needed to. Firstly, the process of telling the story (writing it) was more like Therapy for me. Dealing with issues that I had to deal with and had kept pent up inside for so long; Secondly, and more importantly, "The Story" had never been told before! That is, never told through the eyes of one who had actually won a huge Jackpot or Lottery and how it changed their life.
I felt that this story, (my Book) should be given to every jackpot or lottery winner along with their first check, to prepare them for what's to come. Everyone, each and every one of you, who have dreamed of winning the "Big One" never think beyond "The Win"! "Well I"ll buy myself a Rolls Royce", or "I'll build my Mamma a new house", or.... But what about day two. After the win. How do you deal with the onslaught of Media, scavengers, deadbeats, wierdos, friends, and yes, those relatives you haven't seen for 40 years. It's all there, and more. It is a Psychological Roller Coater. Friends are lost (for reasons sometimes unknown). Your best friends become your CPA, your Lawyer, your Banker, your Financial Planners, and, yes, the IRS. The entire social structure of your life, that is your job and the people you spent most of your life with, your coworkers, are gone.
It is quite a ride, and I thought perhaps you, "the dreamers" would like to ride along.
