From the Publisher:

Whether you have just recently joined the ranks of management or have held a leadership position for years... whether you are a CEO or a front line supervisor... this little book can make you far more effective at what you do on a daily basis.

The Leader As Coach really does three things. First, it describes the world of work today and the critical role that leadership plays in organizations. Second, it describes a particular approach to leadership - one that makes leaders more effective by thinking like a "coach." Third, it lays out what a coach really does and provides specific suggestions for how to coach the different types of players you have on your team.
