July 25, 1975, Victor L. Martin was born in Richmond, Virginia. His stay in Richmond was shorter than Operation Desert Storm. He can claim Selma, North Carolina and Miami, Florida as his childhood homes. He dropped out of school in the 11th grade, obtaining his G. E. D and then joined the United States Marines. Even today he’ll admit his deep regret of not handling his B. I. while in the corp. After his BCD (Bad Conduct Discharge) on May 5, 1996, he sadly turned to a life of crime. Back and forth he had his run ins with the law until he was laid down in 2000 with a sentence of 17-23 years, a conviction that he’s currently fighting. His stress reached its boiling point on December 13, 2002 when he tried to escape from prison. He was unable to simply give his life away for a wrongful conviction of common law robbery and assault on a government official. His escape attempt failed, placing him on super max. It was here, at his lowest that he finally turned his bland life around. He is now a published author and a changed man. He seeks no pity, only your understanding.Review:
When Victor Martin writes it is like you are watching a movie. His words keep you turning the pages until you have read the last one non stop! --A Fan
