An intimate, and highly personal portrait of one of the most glorious and exciting wild rivers in the world. It is a message from the heart singing Bischof s love of the quiet beauty and thrilling whitewater of what is, to so many people, intoxicated by moving water, our favorite river. This book is unique. Buy it and treasure it. --Royal Robbins, World Renown Rock Climber & Kayaker
